CAT GALLERY

This page showcases the cats that I have owned or have come across my path in some way and owned me to be more accurate. I have enjoyed cats as pets and really like their company. Uncommon to popular belief, I have had cats that have been extremely social. Therefore it is a misconception that all cats are independent, reclusive, and not social pets.

Cheese - The Bad Boy...That Good Girls Like

Cheese is by far the most unique cat that I have ever been around. He has so many personalities that you never know what you are going to get each day. Some days he is very easy going and relaxed, other days he is totally wild racing around the house playing, and other days he has to be sitting on you and purring. The only thing that is certain is that he always gets his way. It is futile to try to “train” him to do or not do certain things. He does what he wants…when he wants. He is also a very handsome looking kitty. Cheese started out as feral kitten in the the neighborhood of Alhambra, California before he was brought inside to become an indoor only kitty. He is a fantastic kitty and very friendly.

Here are some videos of Cheese just being crazy and frisky. He is so fun to play with because he is such a funny cat. I have never been around a cat that is so interactive but I totally enjoy all of his crazy behavior. Whatever Cheese wants to do…he does with authority.

Two Face - The Patchy Kitty

This is Two Face. I named her Two Face because half of her face is dark and the other half of her face is light. I named her when she was much younger and the two face colors were even more pronounced. She also has very pretty blue eyes and is my favorite looking cat overall. Patchy colored cats are my favorite color patterns for cats and she is very patchy with black, white, creme, orange, and brown shades. She has white paws with little black spots at the end that I call her “nail polish.”

Two Face was a feral cat, probably around 6 months old, that I often saw roaming the neighborhood just after moving to Animal Alley. I trapped her and took her to the Pasadena Humane Society to get spayed and vaccine shots initially as a Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR). You can notice her ear tip. However, she is a very smart kitty and stayed in the back patio and garage and never left. I would bring her inside the house except that Cheese is VERY territorial and does not like other cats. He would try to attack her but Two Face is bigger, younger, stronger, and has sharp claws. She would easily beat him up. Cheese is also on a prescription diet and needs daily medication so keeping them apart is required. I keep her closed inside the garage at night to be safe from all of the wildlife activity here at night particularly the coyotes, foxes, bobcats, and feral cats. She has food, water, beds, a litter box, a scratching post, and toys in the garage all to herself. When it is too hot or cold to stay in the garage, she comes inside the house but I have to keep her closed in a bedroom to keep Cheese from attacking her.

She is still very skittish and when other people come over she runs and hides in the garage rafters. She is not a vicious cat and is very friendly once she gets comfortable with you. I know she would be very well suited inside. Enjoy these pictures and videos of her.
